Day 10

Day 10: A mixed in the end. A slow start but a visit to arashieyama bamboo forests was well worth the jerky bus ride. Dinner to night was with our new friends and their friends. Amazing people!!! A professional acupuncturist treated me at the table as much as he was allowed by law while under the influence of alcohol (i.e. know needles).
Oops, "no needles";
The end result was stunning, I felt very awake and invigorated so had a few more sake tastings. The food was "Shabu-Shabu" and "Sukiyaki" and shashimi and other stuff. Fabulous fun. Unfortunately I have worn out my tyres and had a blow out on the way home. The hotel staff tried to find new tyres this morning with out luck so I may have to limp for the rest of the holiday.

Sal Medwin Badcock oh dear, what a disaster. You will just have to hobble around drinking sake for the rest of the trip ... bummer! :-)
