Day 12

Day 12: Lost most of day 11 to getting tyres fixed. Many people tried to help but the best suggestion came from the travel agent. She suggested contacting a paralympic association. A quick google search turned up the national wheelchair fencing association of Japan based in Kyoto. A kind man at reception called them and was quickly put in contact with the right company who came to my hotel room with tyres and replaced them for me. Great customer service from the hotel (Mystays) and the wheelchair people (NICKS).

Dinner last night was one of those lets order that because we know they are good and got something completely unexpected but even better than what we expected. Can't tell you what it was as we never found out the name of it.

        • Sal Medwin Badcock they make very good scotch style whiskye in Japan. They've been making it for about 300 years now, and yet they are still fascinated with Johhnie Walker Black Label?! If you like Scatch at all, ask for a recommendation for a good Japanese whiskey. I believe the one Kim had was Old Suntory Gold or something like that
