Day 4: Much sake at an Izakaya style bar lastnight. 3 carafes of good sake and started talking to a couple of the locals who gave us a taste of their nigiri nihonshu (cloudy sake) then on their recommendation tried two other sakes both good. Needless to say some damage in the morning although Ange appeared to suffer more. The food was stuff grilled on a stick. Chicken, pork wrapped around mushrooms etc. Very good.
Phillip Groom I'm loving the commentary John, but I don't think you will get your own travel show describing the food as "stuff grilled on a stick".
